I've found that, if I shut down the computer and then restart Windows, the database initially works fine for a while and then the "stopped working"message appears.
I've looked at some other references to this problem and found suggestions that the problem can be caused by conflicts between Access and Visio that I have installed on my computer.
Is the problem likely to be solved by uninstalling Visio? I could do that because I'm not using Visio at present.
